It is no secret that Janelle loves circular flowers and you can see them on quite a few of her designs. In the past these flowers have been known as penny flowers and this new pattern is one that Janelle designed many years ago but never released as a pattern. These three projects are super quick and easy to make - each would make a perfect gift for a friend or as a special treat for yourself!

This single bed sized quilt and matching cushion were made by Janelle for her friend Mardi. She used 'Mardi's Flowers', her trademark design in scrap booking, to create the beautifully vibrant quilt 'Candy Girl'.

Janelle originally made this cushion back in 2005 as a gift for her friend Janice. She had just completed a beautiful queen sized quilt for her bed and Janelle wanted to make her a cushion to match. When she made herself a version of the cushion she realized she needed to design a quilt to match it - so the Sweet Janice Quilt was born.

Janelle says her designing has always been inspired by things she has a need for in her own life. Last Christmas Janelle celebrated Christmas at her house for the very first time and wished she had a simple table runner to decorate the table. She will be well prepared next time.
